The Opportunity As the centres Early Childhood Teacher – Room Lead in the Kindergarten (3-5 year old room) , you will: Lead a team of educators, mentoring their growth and ensuring exceptional care for every child. Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed and confident in the quality of care. Support educators to deliver contemporary early childhood practices and embed the Guardian Curriculum. Champion your Centre as a beacon of Guardian’s values: brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional. Implement visible educational programs on Storypark, encouraging collaboration from families, children, and educators. Maintain children’s learning profiles and drive continuous improvement through self-assessment. Join Leadership Councils to develop leadership skills, drive change, and shape decision-making. Requirements: A completed Bachelor in Early Childhood Prior experience in an ECT role (Essential) Knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQS) Working with Children’s Check (QLD Paid Blue Card) The Centre: Our Early Learning Centre features a warm and welcoming 22-place Kindergarten room for children aged 3–5 years. The spacious kindy room opens onto a large outdoor yard filled with opportunities for play and exploration — including swings, bikes, and plenty of natural elements for children to discover. You’ll be joining a small, supportive team with long-standing educators and a centre manager who has been with Guardian for over 10 years. The centre is conveniently located close to ferries, cafés, and just a short bus ride from the library.
